Moving parts give Tania Patterson’s jewellery a distinctive personality. Wearing her jewellery is an activity rather than a passive display, as many of her works have a kinetic aspect which directly involves both viewer and wearer. Her current concerns include bracelets and necklaces which focus on wearability and relate directly to the body. Tania's new necklaces, in the form of single seedpods hanging from a simple wire strand, have softer lines and retain the kinetic aspect.
