From North to South is the first solo exhibition at Form Gallery by glass artist, and NZSAG president, Philip Stokes. This collection explores colour, form, and craftsmanship influenced by both Norway’s cultural heritage and architectural elements, particularly the Arctic Cathedral’s striking glass mosaic by Victor Sparre. The exhibition also draws from the country’s dramatic landscapes—its fjords, shifting light, and the ethereal glow of the northern lights—all of which shape the depth, texture, and vibrancy of the pieces on display.
